Session on “Documentation, Compliance Check, and Presentation of Self-Assessment Report by School of Business, AUST”
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology successfully organized a comprehensive and informative session on “Documentation, Compliance Check, and Presentation of Self-Assessment Report by School of Business, AUST” on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the School of Business (SoB), Room No. 6C03, Level 6, Block C, AUST.
The session was primarily for the faculty members of the School of Business, with the objective of providing a clear understanding of accreditation standards, documentation requirements, compliance procedures, and the best practices necessary for achieving academic and institutional excellence. The initiative reflected the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening quality assurance practices and enhancing institutional preparedness for accreditation processes.

The program was moderated by Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity, Additional Director of the IQAC and an Associate Professor at the School of Business. In her introductory remarks, she welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of proper documentation, proofreading, and compliance verification to maintain academic quality standards and ensure successful accreditation outcomes. She also presented and discussed the Self Assessment Report.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Mr. Bidduth Kanti Nath, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Premier University. Drawing on his extensive academic experience and practical involvement in accreditation-related activities, he shared in-depth knowledge and valuable insights on effective documentation practices, compliance-checking procedures, and the importance of maintaining consistency and accuracy in survey reports and accreditation documents.

During the interactive session, Prof. Dr. Parul Akhter, Head of the School of Business, raised several pertinent questions regarding documentation preparation and compliance requirements. Her queries initiated meaningful discussions among the participants and resource persons, addressing several important concerns and practical challenges faced by academic departments in preparing accreditation-related documents.
Later, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST, delivered an insightful address emphasizing the importance of maintaining quality standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and strengthening institutional readiness for accreditation initiatives. He underscored the role of faculty members in promoting continuous quality improvement and achieving academic excellence through systematic and well-documented quality assurance practices.

The session proved highly beneficial for participants, significantly enhancing their understanding of accreditation processes, compliance mechanisms, and documentation standards. It also strengthened their confidence and preparedness in undertaking the necessary steps toward achieving accreditation goals. The program served as an effective platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, and institutional learning.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Bidduth Kanti Nath for his insightful presentation, valuable contribution, and generous support in conducting the session.
