Workshop on “Preparation for Accreditation: Documentation and Evidence”
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) jointly organized a Workshop on “Preparation for Accreditation: Documentation and Evidence”. The program was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the VC seminar room, Level:4, Block-D, AUST.
The Chief Guest of the program was Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Hon’ble Chairman, Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), special guests were Professor. Dr. Golam Rahman, Hon’ble Chairman, Board of Trustees, AUST and Professor. Dr. M. Shamsher Ali, Hon’ble Member, Board of Trustees, AUST. The chair of the session was Professor. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor, AUST. The key presenter was Professor Dr. S. M. Kabir, Hon’ble Member, Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). Prof. Nasir Uddin Ahammed, Director, (Accreditation) Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) and Ms. Farzana Sharmin, PhD, Deputy Director, Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) were present also.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST gave his welcome speech. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful addressed innovative education and said that AUST will strive to prepare students for success in an increasingly dynamic and globalized world.
Prof. Dr. M. Shamsher Ali shared his experiences. In addition, Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman, Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) mentioned about the commitment of BOT to provide high-quality, student-centered learning experiences. After this speech Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed provided a presentation on preparation for accreditation.
Prof. Dr. S. M. Kabir gave his presentation on stages for Preparation on how to apply for accreditation and required documentations and evidences for different standards. After that floor was open for discussion and Question Answer session Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Directors, Additional Directors, all Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, PSAC members, OBE coordinators, Advisor of Students’ Welfare, Proctor, Registrar, Librarian, Registrar and Deputy Registrar were present at the workshop.
lastly, the program was wrapped up by the Vote of thanks by the Professor Nasir Uddin Ahammed Director (Accreditation), Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC).
