Seminar on Research Grant Application

Securing a research grant involves a systematic process of identifying appropriate funding opportunities, preparing a compelling proposal, and navigating the application process. The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a seminar on Research grant application. The program was held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 02:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. at Distance Learning Theatre, AUST.  The keynote speaker Prof. Mamun Bin Ibne Reaz, PhD, Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Technology, and Sciences, Independent University of Bangladesh. He is a renowned academician who secured more than 70 grants nationally and internationally. He is also a member of the peer review of board at different universities worldwide.

The program started with a warm welcome speech from Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST. Dr. Mamun stresses the necessity of Research grants for the advancement of knowledge, innovation, and societal progress. He also pointed out that securing a research grant is a meticulous process that requires careful planning, thorough preparation, and strategic execution. By following these steps, researchers can enhance their chances of obtaining the necessary funding to advance their projects and contribute to their fields. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the Director of IQAC.
