About IQAC
The IQAC has been established to promote the quality of education at AUST through internal and external Quality Assurance (QA) measures. The IQAC is maintaining close contacts with different relevant organizations, including the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), and the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE). It is also responsible for submitting data for the QS University Rankings: Asia.
The IQAC of AUST is playing a pivotal role in implementing Outcome-based Education (OBE) as a quality assurance measure in different programs. The director of IQAC has been facilitating training activities (seminars, and workshops) for promoting OBE at faculty and program levels. It is also giving suggestions/feedback to different programs for developing their OBE-based curricula.

Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain
Associate Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain was born on Feb 12, 1984; who obtained PhD in Electronic field of EEE from Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), JAPAN in 2018 as well as Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from BUET, Bangladesh with first class in 2012 and 1st Class B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from AUST, Bangladesh in 2007 and started his career as adjunct Lecturer in the department of EEE, AUST, in the year 2007. He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in IT from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2009. He has been serving as a faculty member in several universities in Bangladesh as Lecturer, Assistant professor and Associate professor. He has a total 17 years plus teaching experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity
Associate Professor, School of Business, AUST
Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity was born on January 1, 1984; who obtained PhD in Corporate Governance efficiency and Earnings Management from the Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University in 2021 as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Department of Finance, Faculty of Business, Dhaka University, and Bachelor of Business Administration from AUST, Bangladesh. She started her career as a Lecturer at the School of Business, AUST, in the year 2009. She has a total of 14 years plus teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
