Orientation Program of the New Faculty Members

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized the Orientation Program of the new faculties. The program was held on Wednesday, 15 May, 2024, from 09:30 am to 02:00 pm at VC seminar room, Level:4, Block-D, AUST. Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Honorable Vice- Chancellor, (In- Charge) and Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abu Tweb Abu Ahmed, Vice-Chairman, Board of Trustees, Deans of the Faculties, Prof. Dr. M. Shamim Z. Bosunia, Emeritus Professor, Former Professor, BUET, Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman, EX- Chairman, Bangladesh Humanitarian Council and Former Professor, Dhaka University, Heads of Departments/Schools, new faculties were present in this program.

The program started with a warm welcome speech by Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity, Additional Director IQAC, AUST. After the ice-breaking session, Prof. Dr. Abu Tweb Abu Ahmed, Vice-Chairman, of the Board of Trustees, shared the life philosophy of  Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, his lifestyle, humanitarian services, and the main motto of DAM.

Emeritus Professor Dr. M. Shamim Z. Bosunia shared experiences with pedagogical approaches and teaching approaches with the newly joined faculty members.  Ethical and Moral values are two imperative characteristics of the teaching profession. Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman gave an important session on the code of conduct, moral aptitude, and ethical behavior of teachers.

Honorable Vice Chancellor (In-Charge) and Pro-vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman discussed on aptitude of faculty members, ownership towards organization, and continuous improvement in professional life. Lastly, the program was wrap up and end with a vote of thanks by the Director of IQAC.
