IQAC Team attend a workshop organized by University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh organized a workshop on the Role of IQAC: Prospect, challenge and ways overcome the barriers which was held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 09:30 am at Auditorium room, Level:7 of UGC. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity, Additional Director (QA) IQAC, and Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director (ELT) of IQAC, AUST joined in the workshop.  After the inauguration of the program by Dr. Durga Rani Sarkar, Director, SPQA, UGC, several directives were given by Professor Dr. Biswajet Chanda, Member, UGC to all the present directors and additional directors from different private and public universities.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST gave a short presentation on the IQAC cell of AUST, activities, problems, and prospects of IQAC cell.

To address the Role of IQAC: Prospect, challenge, and ways to overcome the barriers, all the participants were divided into three groups (Directors only, Additional Directors (QA), and Additional Directors (ETL). Each of the groups was given some predetermined questions. Based on some predetermined questions, each group presented their findings.

The program was ended by a vote of thanks by the chair of the program from UGC, Bangladesh
