Feedback Session on Foundation for Learning, Teaching, and Research (fLTR)

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) sent six (6) faculty members from various departments to attend a training session organized by the Foundation for Learning Teaching and Research (fLTR) at Green University of Bangladesh, Dhaka. To share their learning and experiences, a brief feedback and training session is organized by IQAC, AUST for the newly joined faculty members of AUST and OBE coordinators from different departments. The program was held on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 02:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. at VC seminar room, level 4, Block-D, AUST. The Chief Guest was Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, (In-Charge) and Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST, and the Session Chair was Professor Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST.

The program is inaugurated by Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC. The program started with a warm welcome speech given by Mr. Zahid Hasan, Assistant Professor, MPE, AUST.  Mr. Riaz Uddin Ahmed, Lecturer-1, CE, AUST discussed the constructive alignment in teaching and learning. Dr. Istiaq Jamil Siddique, Assistant Professor, MPE, AUST talked about the Teaching Learning Framework: Application of Blooms Taxonomy and Formative and Summative Evaluation of Learning Performance, Application of Rubrics. At the end, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman gave his valuable opinion on different aspects of teaching, leaching, and assessment methods in different subject areas. This program ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST.
