Seminar on Strategic Procurement and Purchasing Mastery

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a workshop on “Strategic Procurement and Purchasing Mastery: Enhancing Efficiency and Maximizing Value in Supply Chain Management”. The program was held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at VC seminar room, Level 4, Block-D, AUST. Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman Honorable Vice- Chancellor, (In- Charge) and Pro Vice-Chancellor, all Deans of the Faculties, Heads of Departments/Schools, Officers and staff from the Procurement office, and Treasurer office were present in this program. The Session Speaker was Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, FCILT, SMIEEE, Prof. and Head of Management, IUB.

The program started with a warm welcome speech given by Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity, Additional Director, IQAC, then the keynote speaker Dr. Md. Mamun Habib joined the stage and elaborated on the discussion, focusing on Strategic Procurement and Purchasing Mastery: Enhancing Efficiency and Maximizing Value in Supply Chain Management. He also stresses the importance of value chain and sustainable procurement management. He has supplied various important documents regarding Public Procurement Policy as well. This program ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST.
